The Story of EshClay

Est. in a spare room, grown with love

How it began

From a kitchen table to your jewellery box

EshClay Designs began with a single block of terracotta clay and a quiet Sunday afternoon. What started as a creative escape quickly became an obsession with colour, texture and the tiny sculptural details that make a piece feel special.

Today, every piece is still made the same way: by hand, in small batches, from our home studio in the UK. Our mission is simple — jewellery that feels personal, wears featherlight, and brings a little warmth to every outfit.

What we believe

Our Values

Slow made

Small batches, sculpted without shortcuts. We'd rather make less, beautifully.

Kind materials

Hypoallergenic posts, gold-plated findings and premium clay that lasts.

One of a kind

Hand-blended colours and marbling mean your piece is truly yours.

Behind the scenes

The Handmade Process

01

Blend

Colours are mixed by hand from raw clay until the tone feels just right.

02

Sculpt

Each slab is rolled, cut and shaped individually — no moulds.

03

Cure & sand

Pieces are slow-cured, then sanded and buffed to a soft matte sheen.

04

Assemble

Gold-plated findings are attached, checked and quality-tested.
